MP3 Disobedience

This will go into my scraps after I color it...

Sorry if the spelling is off and the words look a little wonky, I didn't have my trusty dictionary on hand when I drew this.

I wanted to bring my iPod to my internship at a government funded art program I teach art to kids at (Stepping Stones) but for whatever stupid reason, before leaving, I uploaded new songs onto it and when I unplugged it from my computer, the iPod got stuck in the usb, so it went "Plugged, unplugged, plugged, unplugged" rapidly, so it got stuck between the idol and active screens and completely froze up.

And anyone who's owned an iPod knows that if your iPod, or really, any Mac product freezes, there's simply no way to just reboot the dang thing, and with iPods, you just have to wait till the battery runs out, there isn't even a way to manually turn it off! Who thought this one up? So, since the closest thing to an off button they have is holding down the play button, and all that does is put it in sleep mode, iPods can never be completely turned off, short of letting the battery run out of power, which defeats the whole bloody purpose.

My favorite element about fan art is the ability to project personal feelings through a relatable character, like how I would look at kik0thek1ller's work and speculate on her feelings when she drew the submissions... so in this case, I was mad I couldn't listen to my iPod, and it was a really slow day with no kids, hence I drew this.
